Rattled Hater Kris Boyd can’t get over Celtic as he issues BIZARRE Rant on the Hoops that’s got fans asking over his mental health

Rattled Hater Kris Boyd can’t get over Celtic as he issues BIZARRE Rant on the Hoops that’s got fans asking over his mental healthIt’s been several days since Celtic’s victory over Dundee.

Yet Kris Boyd still hasn’t moved past a call that even the Dundee manager was willing to accept straight after the final whistle.

Steven Pressley made it clear he had no issue with the additional stoppage-time that enabled Junior Adamu to level the score and keep Martin O’Neill’s team alive in the contest.

It was, quite literally, the last meaningful act of regulation time, making it understandably agonising for Pressley — or anyone with anti-Celtic leanings.

Kris Boyd on Celtic equaliser vs Dundee:Anyone who tuned into the match will know the stoppage period was prolonged because Kieran Tierney underwent treatment for a suspected head injury.

Ultimately, he was replaced by Marcelo Saracchi.

Analysing the fixture for the Scottish Sun’s Go Ballistic, Boyd couldn’t resist leaning into his familiar Celtic narrative.

He said:

“Yeah, just play on until Celtic score.“I think that’s what we got from Saturday night: we’ll play on until Celtic score. Fair play to them, they kept on going.

“It was a terrific finish. One of those ones that you just have to make perfect contact with and it ends in the bottom corner.

“As was Hamilton’s for Dundee. I know we’ll speak about Celtic, but what a strike that was. Incredible.

“And then Tounekti’s in extra-time. But I think, you know, Martin O’Neill and Celtic could look at it and laugh and joke about it…“But there’s one thing about Celtic: they keep going until the end. They keep going. It’s not a coincidence that they get so many late goals.

“Because they keep asking questions of the opposition, and that’s what happened again on Saturday night.”

Celtic’s bench influence against DundeeIn the end, a match that looked destined to slip away from Celtic’s starting XI was ultimately turned around by those introduced from the bench.

The leveller stemmed from a moment of quality created by Sebastian Tounekti, and Adamu applied a superb finish.

However, it wasn’t solely that duo who made the difference. Saracchi made his comeback from injury and brought a surge of energy that Celtic had been lacking.

Following an underwhelming display from starter Paulo Bernardo, Luke McCowan also made a strong impact with his positive intent after coming on.
