The Scottish FA have criticised the scenes at Ibrox during the Scottish Cup clash where Rangers and Celtic supporters invaded the pitch after the penalty shoot-out victory.
Celtic manager Martin O’Neill refused to let the incident overshadow the important win, while Rangers boss Danny Rohl delivered a strange interview in which he claimed he did not see anything because he was inside the tunnel.
However, the SFA have confirmed they will examine the incidents and it could result in heavy fines for both clubs after the Scottish Cup tie was tainted by unsavoury post-match scenes.

As Tomas Cvancara celebrated the decisive Celtic penalty, seeing the Hoops supporters celebrating their heroes was clearly too much for some Rangers fans.
However, action is expected as a statement on X read, “The Scottish FA condemns the behaviour from supporters entering the field of play following today’s Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Quarter-Final at Ibrox Stadium.
“An investigation will be carried out immediately in line with the Judicial Panel Protocol.”
It was the first time Celtic fans had received a full 7,500 ticket allocation for a Glasgow Derby in almost a decade.
And after the scenes that unfolded today, it could be a long time before the Hoops are given that opportunity again
